Young and promising Italian baritone, Clemente Antonio Daliotti graduated in singing at the “G. Martucci” Conservatory in Salerno. He then attended the Rossini Academy in Pesaro under the guidance of Alberto Zedda and the Academy of Santa Cecilia in Rome, studying with Renata Scotto, Cesare Scarton and Anna Vandi. A winner of the International Contest Tito Schipa in Lecce (2012), he performed L’Elisir d’amore (Dulcamara) in Lecce. After his debut as Fiorello in Il Barbiere di Siviglia in Bari (under Lorin Maazel), in Pesaro (under Alberto Zedda) and as Haly in L’Italiana in Algeri in Bologna, Clemente Antonio Daliotti starred in the first modern revival of Spontini’s La Fuga in Maschera in Jesi (under Corrado Rovaris) and then at the Teatro San Carlo in Naples. He also sang Pallante in Handel’s Agrippina at the Festival International Musique Baroque de Beaune under Federico Maria Sardelli, then he performed Taddeo in L’Italiana in Algeri in Catania, Schaunard in La Bohème in St. Margarethen, Guglielmo in Così fan Tutte in Sassari, Dandini in La Cenerentola in Treviso and Ferrara; a new production of Wolf-Ferrari’s Il Campiello for the season’s opening of the Opera di Firenze and in Trieste;  and the world premiere of Battistelli’s Il Medico dei Pazzi in Nancy, a production that will be revived at the Teatro La Fenice in Venice.

Born in Milano in 1985, he studied singing under Vincenzo Manno (Accademia del Teatro alla Scala and Civica Scuola di Musica Claudio Abbado) and musicology at the Pavia University, where he graduated magna cum laude in 2012. He was admitted twice to the Gstaad Vocal Academy (2009, 2010) where he had the opportunity to specialize with Cecilia Bartoli. Since 2010 he has furthered his studies in the baroque repertoire with Roberta Invernizzi. Among his appearances: Conte Robinson in Cimarosa’s Il matrimonio segreto (Teatro Bibiena, Mantua), Death in Holst’s Savitri (Teatro Dal Verme, Milan), Figaro in Rossini’s Il barbiere di Siviglia (Teatro Ruggeri, Guastalla) and Don Alfonso in Mozart’s Così fan tutte (Opera de Tenerife, Spain). He regularly joins ensembles such as Il Canto d’Orfeo conducted by Gianluca Capuano, with whom he sings baroque as well as contemporary repertoire (most recently, Carissimi’s Jephte and Historia Divitis at the Bach Festival Lausanne and A dog’s Heart by Alexandr Raskatov at the Teatro alla Scala and Opéra National de Lyon), and Giulio Prandi’s Ghislieri Choir & Consort, with whom he sang in Handel’s Dixit Dominus at the Festival de Ambronay. He earned praise from both critics and public for his interpretations in Cavalli’s L’Eritrea and Caldara’s Dafne, both with the Teatro La Fenice in Venice under the baton of Stefano Montanari. In 2014 he has been selected by William Christie for the 7th edition of Le Jardin des voix, touring with Les Arts Florissants in Europe, USA, Russia, Australia and Hong Kong. His discography includes: chamber duets by Agostino Steffani with Roberto Balconi and Ensemble Fantazyas (ALM Records) Stradella’s San Giovanni Crisostomo (title role) with Claudio Astronio and Harmonices Mundi (to be released for Brillants Classics).

Adriana Di Paola 

Adriana Di Paola - Tisbe

Winner of Santa Chiara Contest in Naples, she made her debut at the Rossini Opera Festival in Pesaro (Il viaggio a Reims) and at the Festival Dei Due Mondi in Spoleto (Amelia al Ballo). At the Palau de Les Arts Reina Sofia she performed Le nozze di Figaro, Ariadne auf Naxos and Rigoletto. Ms. Di Paola sang in I Vespri Siciliani at the Festival Verdi in Parma, where she also performed in La Forza del Destino with Gianluigi Gelmetti. She took part in the Young Singers Project at the Salzburg Festival, where she sang in Die Zauberflöte, Carmen and Giulio Cesare. Ms. Di Paola starred as Zita in Gianni Schicchi with the Accademia Santa Cecilia in Rome, where she returned to sing Rossini’s Petite Messe Solennelle led from the piano by Antonio Pappano, who chose her also for a special event around Brahms. She then performed: Ariadne auf Naxos at the Glyndebourne Festival, Vladimir Jurowski conducting; Handel’s Giulio Cesare(Cornelia) in Klagenfurt; Pergolesi’s Stabat Mater in Monte-Carlo and in Saarbrücken; Verdi’s I vespri siciliani  in Madrid; Mozart’s Requiem  in Naples; Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte in Bari; Dido and Aeneas in Florence under Stefano Montanari;L’Incoronazione di Poppea at the Teatro alla Scala in Milan. She also took part in the first and the second edition of the Accademia Monteverdiana under John Eliot Gardiner. Future plans: Beethoven’s 9th Symphony at Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia under Antonio Pappano; Stabat Mater in Génève with the Geneva Camerata and in Rieti with Europa Galante and Fabio Biondi; revival of L’Incoronazione di Poppea at the Teatro alla Scala in Milan.
